There are 175 entries for the Brecon & Talybont Point-To-Point Steeplechases at Llanfrynach on Sunday where racing gets under way with the members' race at 1.p.m.

Windy Spirit, a former inmate of Evan Williams's Llancarfan yard, and a winner earlier in the season,can get backers off to a good start by beating last year's winner Mister Bigtime.
There are 16 down to run in the confined and Little Ed and Twilight Dancer catch the eye.The former who finished half-a-length behind Derring Dove at the Vale of Clettwr but who was promoted to first place after a long stewards' inquiry,may take some beating.

In the men's open for which there are 25 entries, David Richards's Euryalus has strong claims.Corkan, Minsgill Man, Buckland Boy and Seaforde are others to consider.
Last year's winner Fleur De Nikos is one of the 24 entries for the ladies'open and with Lunar Crystal,a good winner at Badbury Rings recently and Madge Carroll entered an exciting race is promised.

Of the 34 entries for the restricted Tokpela, One For The Lads and Tanmeya will have their followers.However, Evan Williams's Councillor Jack, who made nearly all when losing his maiden tag at Howick last Sunday, and who was the quickest of the four maiden winners will not be far away. Last year's leading Welsh trainer Abbi Vaughan is well represented in the maiden races and it would come as no great surprise if she manages to win one or two of them.
