Pentyrch Hunter Trials

There will be limited entries in all classes! Class 1 will start at 9.30am PROMPT

Class 1 Minimus. Entry £10.00 Fences will be approx 1ft 9" to 2ft max.
This class is limited to horse and rider combinations that have not been placed in any hunter trial competition.
This class will be split into juniors and seniors if there are more than 8 entries in each category. Juniors 16 and under on the 1st Jan 2010
Rosettes 1st - 6th + Prizes: - 1st £15 2nd £10 3rd £5 (in vouchers)

Class 2 Minimus Pairs entry £16.00 per pair. Fences will be approx 1ft 9" to 2ft max

Class 3 Novice Pairs entry £25.00 per pair. Fences will be approx 2ft 6"
This class is limited to horse and rider combinations that have not been placed 1st in any novice hunter trial/ ODE.
Rosettes 1st - 6th + Prizes: - 1st £30 2nd £15 3rd £5

Class 4 Novice entry £15.00. Fences to be approx 2ft 6"
This class is limited to horse and rider combinations that have not been placed 1st in any novice hunter trial/ ODE. This class will be split into juniors and seniors if there are more than 8 entries in each category. Juniors 16 and under on the 1st Jan 2010
Rosettes + Prizes: - 1st £25 2nd £10 3rd £5

Class 5 Open entry £20.00. Fences to be approx 3ft
This class will be run as a mixed class of juniors and seniors.
Prizes: - 1st £50 2nd £20 3rd £10

There will be a charge of £3 per rider to cover Paramedic / First Aid Services
There will be a £5 deposit for Number Bib's fully refundable upon return of Bib

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The correct BSI headgear must be worn at all times whilst mounted and must have a three-point harness. It is also strongly recommended that a body protector is worn whilst jumping, this is compulsory for juniors.
2. The judges decision is final, any objections to be lodged in writing with a £20 deposit to the secretary within 15 minutes of the results being published. This deposit will be refunded if the objection is upheld.
3. It is strongly recommended that competitors have adequate public liability insurance. Pentyrch Hunt Ltd, it's Joint Masters and Committee will not accept any liability for any injury or damage sustained by any third party.
4. Entry fees are not refundable unless a vet's certificate can be produced.
5. Any vehicles parked, do so at their own risk.
6. All horses and ponies must be 4 years old and over and may enter no more than three classes including the pairs.
7. Outside assistance is forbidden unless there is a fall of the horse/rider. In the event of a fall of either horse/rider they must leave the course without jumping any further jumps.
8. Hunting dress or cross-country colours must be worn.
9. All litter to be taken home with you and no horseboxes or trailers to be skipped out on the premises.
10. In the event of there being less than eight entries in any class only 1st prize money will be awarded.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
The organisers have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. In order for these measures to be effective, everyone must take care to prevent accidents and must obey instructions of the stewards at all times.
